FAQs
What airport do I fly into? How far is the drive once we land? And is airport transportation covered?
We fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). It is close to a 2 hour drive from Cancun to Tulum (depending on the traffic). Please try to arrange your flight to arrive around 1PM on Friday October 20th and to depart anytime after 1PM on Wednesday October 25th (this will help us coordinate airport transportation.) Yes, airport transportation is covered for those arriving on October 20th and departing on the October 25th. If you are arriving before or staying later, please plan to join us in the afternoon of Friday October 20th.
What if I don’t exercise, practice yoga or meditation?
As long as you’re open to participating, we say, come on! Fitness and yoga class will be taught to accommodate all levels.
What’s included?
We have almost everything covered!
We will spend 5 nights together and our intention is for you to arrive and be well taken care of. We have an incredible agenda planned which you will receive on Saturday morning at our opening ceremony. We have included two adventure excursions and two self care excursions. All meals are covered except for one dinner out which will be your own expense.
Are there any additional fees?
Just the one dinner out and if you’d like anything extra such as…. scooter rentals, bike rentals, additional massages, souvenirs, etc.
Is there wifi?
Yes, there is Wifi onsite yet we encourage you to enjoy this time away and practice being unavailable. We will provide you with our cell phone number, so you can have peace of mind knowing that you can be reached in case of an emergency.
Is Mexico safe?
Noah and I personally love many parts of Mexico and generally speaking, Mexico is a safe destination if visitors use common sense. The U.S. State Department advises Americans not travel to 6 of Mexico’s 32 states: Guerrero, Colima, Michoacan, Sinaloa, Tamaulipas, and Zacatecas. There is also The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) which is a free service to all U.S. citizens and nationals traveling and living abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Click here to learn more about the STEP program.
We have security onsite and a safe box in each room.
What clothes do I need to bring?
Comfortable clothes, fitness wear, beach wear, flip flops, running shoes and one nice beach casual outfit for our dinner out.
About where we are staying?
Our Tulum home is committed to minimizing their environmental impact and the use of plastic, so they ask that all guests do their best to refrain from bringing plastic and non-recyclables onto the property. Please bring a reusable water bottle.
Organic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion & hand sanitizer) will be provided yet we suggest bringing your own as well.
